We invite you to the fifth edition of the Not-a-Date with Art series — a special gathering around a shared table created in collaboration with the chleb popup collective.
The starting point for meeting halfway is a network of connections between Romanian and Polish rural cultures — social, geographical, and artistic relationships. Through food and the symbolism of the communal table, we want to create a space for togetherness, conversation, and the exchange of experiences.
The dinner will revolve around fresh and short-aged cheeses, traditional fermentation, and regional fruits and vegetables. These flavors have long been part of the shared history and culture of the regions surrounding the Carpathian mountain range. Inspired by them, chleb popup seeks combinations of tastes that form rich, diverse, yet cohesive compositions.
Meeting halfway is not only a dinner, but also an initiative supporting the cultivation of tradition and shared folklore. 20% of each ticket sale will be donated to the University of Folk Artistic Crafts.
The evening will begin with a guided tour of the current exhibitions presented at KAF.
The dinner will consist of three vegetarian courses paired with fermented beverages.
Let’s meet around a shared table.
