Anastasia’s music is a raw fusion of pagan roots, dark electronic soundscapes, and profound human sensitivity. Living in Poland since her forced emigration following the political crisis in Belarus in 2020, the artist rebuilt her world from the ground up, transforming the experience of exile into a powerful creative force.
Her work unfolds as a cinematic journey shaped by synesthesia — a phenomenon in which sounds become images and emotions take on texture. Drawing on her background in French literature and her life in the United States, France, and Belarus, Anastasia creates a multilingual tapestry in Belarusian, English, and French. Her latest album, Snake Charmer, is a deeply personal exploration of self-acceptance, marked by the distinctive, “serpentine” depth of her voice and rhythmic structures rooted in her lived experience with Tourette syndrome and bipolar disorder.
Since 2023, Anastasia has released three critically acclaimed albums — When I Can’t Speak, Mugwort, and Snake Charmer — which together have amassed over one million streams. Her rapid emergence on the European music scene has led to features in Vogue Polska and performances at numerous international festivals and showcase events.
As an accomplished visual artist with exhibitions across Europe, Anastasia creates a total sensory experience. Whether through a whispered phrase in Belarusian or a hypnotic electronic beat, she seeks to connect with sensitive audiences, making the world a more empathetic place through what she describes as “honesty down to the bone.”
