We invite you to the final curatorial tour of FOCUS on the Collection—a unique opportunity to experience the exhibition one last time in the company of its creators and contributors to the collection: Monika Łuszpak-Skiba, Natalia Barczyńska, and Sylwia Krupa, co-founder and member of the Foundation Council of Krupa Art Foundation.
This special event will be more than a guided tour—it will offer insight into the ideas behind the Krupa Art Foundation collection and the process of building an independent contemporary art center. During the tour, you will hear stories about the formation of the collection, personal connections to selected works, and behind-the-scenes perspectives on constructing the exhibition’s narrative, centered on contemporary ways of seeing.
Together, we will explore five thematic areas defined by the curators:
Double Exposure – on perceiving oneself and others from multiple perspectives;
Frontline – on testimonies of oppression, conflict, and resistance;
Weaving – on the interlacing histories of textile, technology, and binary code;
Interferences – on blur, disruption, and dystopian visions of the present;
Close-up – on intimacy and attentive looking.
This is the last chance to experience the exhibition in this format and hear its multi-voiced interpretation directly from those who co-created it.
