We invite you to the third edition of Primo!—a one-piece gallery and creative space for families. As the exhibition guides at KAF say, “it works for everyone, from zero to hero.” The simple language of descriptions and easy-to-follow tasks make this space accessible to all ages.
Starting October 6, you can experience the work of Marcin Zawicki, who describes himself as a professional painter and an amateur sculptor. In this special case, the piece showcased in Primo! consists of two parts: a painting and a model that was originally a sketch for the artwork.
We’ll be observing magical seeds! These tiny elements, from which the entire universe is built, are painted by the artist in such a way that you’ll struggle to distinguish the image from reality.
At Primo!, creative questions await you—engage in family conversations, exchange ideas and associations. Then, move on to free-form activities inspired by Marcin Zawicki’s artwork. You’ll find a magnetic composition to arrange, as well as drawing templates to replicate motifs from the painting.
Primo! is located on the first floor of the Krupa Art Foundation (Rynek 27/28). Best of all, you don’t need to buy a gallery ticket to enjoy Primo!.
This initiative is part of the “Primo! – Art First” project, which is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund, a state-designated fund.
