The “WYTAŃCZ TO!” workshop series is designed for adults and focuses on intuitive movement, inspired by the current exhibition at Krupa Art Foundation. The sessions are led by Paulina Galanciak-Ilczyszyn, the creator of Wytchnienie. Intuitive movement is not about choreographed dances, polished performances, or comparing yourself to others. It’s about moving your body in a way that it needs, guided by the instructor’s suggestions. Our bodies store a lot of tension, emotions, and traumas. Unplanned, uncontrolled movement can help release these tensions, discover new motions in the body, and find more freedom.
Each session explores a different theme through movement and bodywork. We’ll use our bodies as the primary reference, following their responses to explore what moves, saddens, surprises, or delights us.
No prior experience in movement or dance is required. Wear comfortable clothing and bring something to drink.
Instructor
Paulina Galanciak-Ilczyszyn professionally supports others in connecting with their bodies through movement, massage, and breath. She brings these elements together in the Wytchnienie space. Passionate about exploring different forms of movement and breathing, Paulina has a diverse background that includes ballroom dance, Latin dance, pole dance, crossfit, kettlebells, kickboxing, yoga, and calisthenics. She loves to experiment and test the limits of the body. Currently, she draws the most inspiration from somatics, yoga, animal movement, and intuitive movement. Her young son is a beautiful source of inspiration for her practice. Paulina is a certified Hatha/Vinyasa yoga teacher (5elements), prenatal yoga teacher (5elements), and special needs yoga teacher (Special Yoga). She also holds a Lomi Lomi massage certification (Bodywork Aga Rybak) and has completed teacher training in Living Somatics as well as a Dance Therapy and Movement Analysis course. She is also supported by numerous Nonviolent Communication (NVC) trainings.
