Agata Bartos graduated from Academy of Arts in Arnhem. She creates on the verge of visual arts, film and theatre. She is a co-author of a film project THRESHOLD, created with Tomek Tryzna. Together with her brothers she co-founded KINOMURAL, a gigantic open-air audiovisual gallery.

Agata’s artistic statement is: “ Thoughts seeking their form in words I transform into signs. While making jewellery I use various techniques and materials. My favourite medium is epoxy, the contemporary amber. In the process of poetic recycling I eliminate any excess, to get to the essence, to the gem, to igniting a spark. The less there is on stage, the more room for reflection, which resonates: discovery expansion dissolution”.

Filip Błażewicz focuses on creating everyday products from stoneware. His passion for ceramics began during his studies at the University of Arts in Poznań in the Faculty of Architecture and Design. Although he graduated with a degree in furniture design, ceramics is what fascinated him the most. In 2019, he decided to turn this passion into a full-time job and has been running his own ceramic studio ever since.

“Gorzki smak ziemi” (eng. Bitter taste of earth) is a fragrance inspired by the connection with nature found in the poetry of Halina Poświatowska. In the face of internal unease, amplified by the uncertainty that increasingly defines the Anthropocene era, the author seeks refuge in the familiar, in what has always existed. She longs to envelop herself in the scents of grass, hay and wooden boards – a return to the carefree dreams of childhood and the cradle of humanity. In Poświatowska’s poetry, she discovers the wildness of nature, a sensual immersion in its raw manifestations: dirty, tart, bitter, bright, warm, all-encompassing. Beautiful.

La Loba Design Lab is a ceramic design studio where you’ll find handcrafted dishes and learn how to create them yourself. Slowly.

In accordance with the principles of sustainable development, Basia Stelmachowska creates high-quality ceramics that will accompany their owners for years, with stories related to them being passed down to their children. Beyond designing and producing ceramics, sharing her passion for this material is important to her. That’s why she organizes workshops, where she focuses not only on the final outcome but also on the process of creation and the experience of working with clay. She works intuitively, listening to her body.

Paweł BDL Palewicz is an artist, craftsman, and scientific-technical specialist, as well as a glass grinder at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. He focuses on designing and creating artistic and functional glass objects. In his work, he employs cold glass processing techniques using grinding and polishing. He works with both glass melted in an electric furnace and glass shaped through traditional glassblowing methods. In his artistic practice, he emphasizes practical skills that enhance the understanding of glass as a medium, resulting in a more thoughtful design process.

The “Plantacja” (eng. plantation) project is based on hydroponic plant cultivation – growing in water without soil. Porcelain elements are placed in repurposed glasses, allowing for the observation of root growth and the green parts of the plant.

“Plantacja” revolves around themes such as waste, upcycling (giving a second life to products), home gardening, and audience engagement. The product was awarded the Mazda Design Award 2018 and was temporarily available in stores like Tate Modern, Barbican Center, V&A Children Museum, MoMA New York, Merci Paris, Manchester Art Museum, and Future Museum in Dubai.

The works arose from contemplation on life and death, symbolically encapsulated in fossilized bone, as the primary material used in the jewellery-making process is bone found along the Baltic Sea shore. Each piece of silver is like a snapshot of fascinating biological processes frozen in time. During the creation process, the metal burns the bone, allowing it to return to the cycle of organic matter, leaving behind its imprint. However, the metal will outlive us.

Karola Wojsz features timeless, geometric patterns intertwined with classic, beautiful sensuality. Each product has its unique character, bearing the distinct mark of the tools that shaped it. Patrycja Gorzela created Zachwyt Studio (eng. Delight Studio) to add a splash of color to everyday life. She strives to ensure that everything produced in her workshop brings a significant dose of fun and energy to interiors. Zakwas Studio is a project of the Zakwas Social Cooperative founded by Dominika Kulczyńska and Mateusz Peringer in 2018. Together with nine other specialists, the founders create an original ceramic studio located in the Plac Grunwaldzki neighborhood.

Their guiding principles in both design and craftsmanship are quality and care for environmental resources. Zakwas is a space for all creatively inclined individuals, offering a wide range of workshops in various ceramic techniques. It also operates the only ceramic coworking space in Wrocław – a place for the exchange of ideas, accessible to those looking to refine their craft independently. All products offered by Zakwas Studio are handmade using pottery wheel techniques and plaster mold casting.

Zieta Studio is a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, engineers, and technologists.
