Art within reach (of children) – the exhibition V4 AbstrACTION Interactive is showing now
At the beginning of September, the Krupa Art Foundation invites children to a special project that opens the door to the world of art. The V4 AbstrACTION Interactive project is an exhibition combined with an educational programme, designed for children aged 5 to 12. Admission is free, ensuring that every young explorer can take part in this engaging journey through art.
V4 abstrACTION Interactive is an exhibition of interactive installations created by artists from the four partner countries: the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary. The works are inspired by the tradition of abstract art from Central Europe.
A key part of the exhibition features works by Polish abstract artists from the collection of Sylwia and Piotr Krupa: Stefan Gierowski, Zuza Golińska, Edward Krasiński, Edwin Mieczkowski, Jan Młodożeniec, Weronika Lucińska, Włodzimierz Pawlak, Małgorzata Szymankiewicz, Julian Stańczak, Gábor Szűcs and Jan Tarasin.
The exhibition is accompanied by an educational program focused on digital and interactive art, designed for children aged 5 to 12. It invites young participants to engage with five installations created by Balázs Kovács, Zsolt Gyenes, Sebastian Sobótka, Adam Soukup, and Gábor Szűcs, inspired by the work of František Kupka, Jan Młodożeniec, Zdeněk Sýkora, Małgorzata Szymankiewicz, and Steina and Woody Vasulka.
School groups are invited to workshops that will explain how interactive works are created and how technology can support creativity. The workshops are designed for children aged 5-12. Registration is open any time from Wednesday to Friday (except Tuesday, when the gallery is closed). For more information, please see the registration form: >>to make a reservation, click here<<
