Performance w KAF: Pat Dudek aka Milkbaby x MANOID: Martyrdom? That’s not my style
Saturday, 17.01.2025 | g. 19:00

As part of the finissage of the exhibition Utopie teraźniejszości (Utopias of the Present), Pat Dudek aka Milkbaby—a performer and singer—will step out of the paintings by Maciej Nowacki presented at Krupa Art Foundation to perform original songs together with music producer and live performer MANOID. Their performance will explore themes of inner life, risk-taking, self-determination, and the entirely sufficient richness of secular culture. Although in the mid-2020s this may seem almost exotic, you will not hear a single song referring to anyone’s religious experience that evening—this is not our style. Instead, we turn to the abundant reservoir of secular themes and mythologies (not limited to fin-de-siècle femmes fatales).

The performance will be accompanied by a video visualisation by artist Marta Kaczmarek.

When: Saturday, 17 January 2026, 7:00 PM
Where: Krupa Art Foundation, Rynek 27/28 | exhibitions Utopias of the Present and Momentum

Milkbaby – the stage alter ego of Pat Dudek: a performance artist, vocalist, and lyricist whose practice merges music and visual art, and for whom singing and the (audible) voice constitute the primary means of expression as well as a tool for offering narratives and storytelling. The Milkbaby project debuted in 2019 with a performance at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw; the same year, the music video for Holy Milk received an award at the PL Music Video Awards. She co-created the conceptual album I_N_T_E_R_V_A_L_S (2025) with MANOID. Her performances and works have been presented, among others, at Zachęta, the Foksal Gallery Foundation, and the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin.

MANOID – a music producer, live performer, sound designer, and DJ. He is the author of the album Truth LP(hafendisko, 2018), which was recognised by the European music press and awarded at the PL Music Video Awards. He has performed at major festivals in Poland (including Audioriver and Tauron Nowa Muzyka) as well as internationally—from Iceland to South Korea. He is the creator of the performance Afterhuman Afterparty (Munoludy 2019 – Event of the Year) and the founder of the Institute of Sound and co-founder of Holyklang. In 2025, he returns with the new album I_N_T_E_R_V_A_L_S, combining emotional depth with a precise, hypnotic sound.
