We invite you to take part in special guided tours of two exhibitions at Krupa Art Foundation: Utopias of the Present and Momentum. This is an opportunity to learn about the concepts, inspirations, and creative processes behind the presented projects directly from the artists and curatorial team.

Utopias of the Present
Guided by: curator Romuald Demidenko and artist Maciej Nowacki

The joint exhibition by Maciej Nowacki and Jaanus Samma presents a selection of works created in recent years, in which the artists draw on visual codes rooted in the past, deconstructing and reinterpreting them. At the core of the exhibition is queer intimacy and the possibility of incorporating non-heteronormative micro-histories that have previously been marginalized or erased.

The artist–curator-led tour offers insight into the motivations behind the exhibition, which becomes a space for reflection on communities formed in opposition to dominant social norms, on the everyday practice of solidarity and resistance, as well as on alternative visions of the present and the future.

Momentum
Guided by: curator Monika Łuszpak-Skiba together with artists Jörg Hurschler and Fairouz Hasan | the exhibition tour will be in English

The immersive experience Momentum explores the dynamics of movement within the physical, emotional, and political body. In films by artists such as Birgitta Hosea, Jörg Hurschler, and Fairouz Hasan, we observe—from different perspectives—moments of significant change which, like movement in animation, occur in-between: between still frames, within invisible transitions.

The guided tour provides insight into how the works presented as part of Momentum create a space of experimentation, intertwining narratives related, among others, to sexuality, AI, pain, and loss. It also explores how the exhibition resonates with other projects at Krupa Art Foundation—such as Body. Pleasure and Pain and Utopias of the Present—forming a multilayered narrative of contemporary experience.
