15th of November, 7pm
Not-a-Date with Art is our original event series that blends art, emotion, and entertainment. It’s a proposition for those who want to experience culture without commitment — solo, with friends, or simply out of curiosity.
The third edition will bring together two worlds — art and wine — in an unexpected pairing. Instead of the classic food-and-wine combination, we invite you to a nontraditional experience: wines matched to the works of modern art icons. Instead of cheese — surrealism; instead of tapas — conceptualism.
Throughout the evening, we’ll ask: What wines might great artists have chosen to drink?
We’ll draw inspiration from works in the Krupa Art Foundation Collection, from pieces currently on view, and from some of the most renowned figures in art history. Would Warhol reach for a sparkling rosé in a can? Would Natalia LL prefer a sensuous Lower Silesian vintage? Would Kantor choose a dry red with notes of rust and stage dust, and Szapocznikow a pink one — fragile as her sculptures of body and light?
In an intimate setting, you’ll taste five carefully selected wines (including non-alcoholic ones) while listening to engaging stories about art. This alternative “date” format doesn’t require a partner — or any prior knowledge of art — only an openness to new experiences.
What awaits you:
-
5 wines (or “no-wines”) and water
-
A small art-inspired quiz with prizes
-
Mini art lessons and access to current exhibitions at KAF
Date & Time: Saturday, 15 November, 7:00 PM

Patrycja Nawrocka — educator, journalist, and enthusiast of Polish wines. Her storytelling passion comes to life in her project Wine Thinking, where she teaches, creates, and writes about wine. She specialises in introductory wine courses and creative workshops proving that wine can be paired with yoga, floristry, or even branding. She holds a WSET Level 3certificate and leads WSET courses.
Natalia Barczyńska — curator, art historian, and coordinator of artistic events. A graduate of Art History at the University of Wrocław and Curatorial Studies at KASK & Conservatorium in Ghent. She has collaborated with both public and private institutions as well as NGOs. Her research focuses on contemporary art, especially socially engaged practices and the tactile aspects of curatorial work. Since 2022, she has been part of the Krupa Art Foundation team. A lover of dry flavours and non-alcoholic wines.
