Program
KAF
open call: 01.01–31.03.2026
The second edition of the KAF Young Prize is now open—a competition for young artists who want to develop their practices, experiment, and present their work to a wider audience. After an extremely successful debut, which received over 1,600 painting submissions, we are expanding the competition format and introducing two new categories:
-
Digital art
-
Sculpture and installation
The KAF Young Prize provides a platform for artists at the beginning of their careers—those seeking space for bold gestures, new directions, unconventional solutions, and conscious experimentation. The competition offers the opportunity to present work to an international jury and to the audience at the final exhibition, which will take place in Wrocław in autumn 2026.
This edition will again award three equal main prizes of €12,000 each. All other finalists will receive an exhibition fee of €400. We aim to support as broad a group of artists as possible, which is why the KAF Young Prize does not single out one winner but promotes many valuable artistic approaches and practices. Detailed information about the prizes can be found in the competition rules.
Submission period: 1 January – 31 March 2026. Participation is open to artists from all over Europe.
If you create, experiment, and want to show your work to the world—apply now. KAF Young Prize 2026 is waiting for your application.
