To celebrate Father’s Day, we invite you to an intimate film evening exploring fatherhood from emotional, cultural, and artistic perspectives. The program features a selection of short animated films from around the world that surprise with their form and emotional depth.
From hand-drawn visuals to narrative experiments — these are stories of memory, difficult conversations, absence, but also love and the longing for understanding.
Program:
-
Rosemary A.D. (After Dad) (USA, 9’38”) – a melancholic vision of fatherhood and the fear of its weight.
-
Hey Dad (Taiwan, 5’37”) – a story about a son who cannot bring himself to tell his father the truth.
-
The Role (UK, 5’28”) – a funny and touching tale of playing the role of a lifetime.
