Join us for a special curator-led tour in celebration of International Women’s Day of the exhibition “FOCUS on the Collection”, guided by Monika Łuszpak-Skiba and Natalia Barczyńska. The event will be an opportunity to focus on selected works from the Sylwia and Piotr Krupa Collection created by women.
During the tour, we will explore engaged and feminist art, featuring works by artists such as Aurora Király and Maria Pinińska-Bereś. The program will also include pieces addressing themes of corporeality and oppressive beauty standards in the work of Adéla Janska and Agata Kus-Dymna. The tour will cover both contemporary narratives and the works of iconic Polish artists of the 20th century, such as Magdalena Abakanowicz and Teresa Tyszkiewicz.
This special event offers a chance for a shared reflection on the visibility of women in the field of contemporary art.
