Workshops for all elementary school grades are held in the exhibition spaces of Krupa Art Foundation and are thematically linked to the exhibits or selected works. Students actively participate in the workshops surrounded by art under the guidance of gallery attendants.
Grades I–III
Forms of Painting
Core Curriculum
- Art: V.1.1-2, V.2.1-7, V.3.1-3, I.1.1-2, II.5.4
What is a painting, and how is it created? In this workshop, we’ll explore what makes something a painting. Inspired by the featured works, we’ll create our own pieces using techniques such as collage (Małgorzata Mirga-Tas) and cutout (Kasia Kmita).
Grades IV–VI
Painting with Words
Core Curriculum

Can text be a painting? We’ll explore the works of concrete poetry, particularly calligrams and investigate the relationship between form and content. Inspired by Stanisław Dróżdż’s practice, we’ll create our own calligrams in the practical part of the workshop.
Grades VII–VIII
Beyond the Frame
Core Curriculum
- Art: I.1, I.2, I.4-5, II.1, II.6, III.2, III.5
What does it mean to “go beyond the frame” in art? We’ll explore creative works that broke conventions and set new trends. We’ll work on design thinking to come up with ideas for creatively using the frame as part of the artwork.

What does it mean to have a personal style and how can we recognize it? We’ll analyze the techniques, compositions, colors, and themes of various works on display. Using one chosen work, we’ll define the artist’s style and attempt to create another work in the same style.
