What does it mean to be a woman today in a world of images, filters, and constant judgment? Can we still distinguish real stories from those created by pop culture? Together with Przestrzeń dla Kobiet, we invite you to a special weekend at Krupa Art Foundation. To mark the occasion, we have prepared a limited number of free tickets to the exhibition Marilyn Monroe. I Feel I Know Her, but Sometimes My Arms Bend Back.

Although the exhibition takes Marilyn Monroe and Milton H. Greene’s unique photographs as its starting point, it is not solely about a Hollywood icon. Above all, it reflects on the female image, the pressure of social expectations, and the ways in which media and visual culture shape how we see ourselves and other women. Classical photographs are brought into dialogue with works by contemporary artists who, from different perspectives, explore identity, the body, memory, fame, and the mechanisms behind the creation of contemporary myths.

At the same time, KAF Project Space is presenting Arsenic Ballerinas by Ioana Vreme Moser — an immersive sound installation exploring communication, women’s narratives, and invisible networks of information exchange.

If you are looking for an inspiring idea for a summer weekend, a space for conversation, and a moment to pause, we invite you to discover art that raises more questions than it provides ready-made answers.

How to take part?

A limited number of free tickets are available to participants of the initiative, valid on September 11 and 12, 2026. Places are limited, so advance online reservation is required. When booking your ticket, please select the day and time of your visit — each ticket is valid only for the selected date and time.
